Lys-Rød N°24 2024

The term "Lys-rød" means "light red" in Danish. Also setting it apart from the traditional regional name "Schilcher". Its not allowed to use Schilcher  anymore as this Strohmeier cuvee is too pure for and it stands out of the for Schilcher rules.

Its made of 100% Blauer Wildbacher and it was a wonderful Hand-harvested for this vintage, it has  4-hour maceration for minimal skin contact, spontaneous fermentation in used oak barrels, unfined, unfiltered, and no added sulfur.

Appearance: Red berries, a tangy spice, and bright acidity, with a light-bodied for refreshing profile
